Jill Armstrong retired from a long career in academia now devotes her time between her charity work with End of Life Doula UK, York End-of-Life Doulas, volunteering in local doula work, her allotment, friends and family.

Lucy Bennett is the Wellbeing Coordinator at St Leonard's Hospice York.

Dr Emma Clare is a Chartered Psychologist and practising end of life doula. She is CEO of End of Life Doula UK and Vice Chair of the National End of Life Care Coalition. She has been part of the York Dead Good Festival organising committee since 2021.

Chris Dudzinska is a founder of the York Dead Good Festival, longest standing member of the committee and Funeral Director at Last Wishes Funerals in York.

Matthew Harper-Hardcastle is a director, writer and theatre tutor. He is also the CEO and Artistic Director of award-winning theatre company, Next Door But One. Away from this he is the Chair of Tutti Frutti Productions, Vice Chair of Out of Character Theatre Company and Patron of York Carers Centre.

Sabine Horner is a nutritionist and yoga therapist who specialises in helping people find healthy ways to deal with grief.

Lewis Lansford has a background in teaching and educational publishing and is a member of End of Life Doula UK working as an end-of-life doula in training and a wellbeing volunteer at St Leonard’s Hospice.
